I’m Ali, an experienced, BACP Accredited counsellor. I qualified over twelve years ago and currently run a private practice online.
I draw on a range of approaches in my work. This includes attachment and trauma-informed thinking, body-based strategies, parts work, EMDR and psychoeducation. However, my main focus is on providing a space where you feel comfortable. We can work together to find an approach and pace that suits you.
Alongside my therapy work I contribute to the BACP Good Practice in Action resources and support trainee counsellors and psychotherapists with their academic work.
I am an accredited member of BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) and a member of PCSR (Psychotherapists and Counsellors for Social Responsibility) and EMDRUK (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing UK). I hold full indemnity insurance and an enhanced DBS.
